Marea arrived in Te Akau Tai Toko / The Catlins in 20XX. She gave birth to her first pup in 2006. This was the first known birth in the area in XXX years.

Angel was first discovered in Ōtepoti when she arrived with a pup. For a long time, it was not known where she was having her pups. It was later discovered that she was pupping in Waikawa, Te Akau Tai Toko / The Catlins and then bringing her pups to Ōtepoti in Autumn.

Kotahi

Kotahi's origins are a mystery as she was never tagged. She was first discovered XXX. She started having pups in Akatore behind a fur seal colony. She then takes her pups to Te Akau Tai Toko and joins the Marea Whanau.
