Otago Sea Lion Family Tree

After an absence of possibly 200 years breeding began again of the Otago coast at Taieri Mouth in 1993 with a female that came up from Enderby Island in the subantarctic Auckland Islands. Known locally simply as ` Mum’ all the Otago pups are descended from her and her offspring.
